Cosmetics

Cosmetics change how you and your pokémon look, and nothing else. No outfit or skin grants damage, exp, gold or any advantage: it is the one category in the shop that is 100% aesthetic.

Trainer outfits

There are 80 trainer looks, each with a male and a female version (the game applies the one matching your chosen gender). They split by how you get them:

Premium-access outfits are not purchased: they are available to wear while Premium is active.

The 9 reward outfits are the Pikachu outfit, from the trainer level 50 milestone, and the eight elemental Masters, one for the champion of each ranking category. They were purchasable until July 25, 2026 and left the shop for good. See Beta Rewards.

Pokémon skins

There are 1,039 skins on sale covering 286 species, each tied to a species. An equipped skin swaps that pokémon's sprite:

Costumes have their own names and show up in the shop as species (costume), like "Snorlax (Sushilax)" or "Gyarados (Huanglong Mask)". Some species have more than ten options: Umbreon, Gardevoir, Togekiss, Snorlax, Alakazam and Dragonite are among the best served. Others have just one.

Shiny skins are not sold, by design: being shiny is a hunting achievement, and selling the look would hollow out the value of a real shiny.

Reserved skins

On top of the ones for sale, 17 skins are not sold at all: the winged forms and the trainer-ridden mounts (winged Charizard, ridden Dragonite, Fearow, Gyarados, Steelix, Pidgeot). They are the showiest of the set, and they only arrive as prizes, in events, tournaments and special occasions. Once you receive one, it is yours forever.

Event skins

Another 25 skins are seasonal: they only go on sale at certain times.

Santa hats, pumpkin heads, Christmas trees and party balloons.

They only go on sale during their event (90 Sapphire). Outside that window they leave the shop entirely. What does not change is the wearing: once bought, the skin is yours for good and can be worn any time of year, Premium or not. The window governs the sale, never the use.

A skin's name often carries a nickname ("Golden Flame Charizard", "Golden Pharaoh Lucario"), but what matters is the base species: Flame Charizard fits any Charizard of yours. If you own more than one skin for the same species, you can switch between them (and back to the default look) on the pokémon's detail screen.

An equipped skin is visual: it does not turn the pokémon into a real shiny (a legitimate shiny remains the rare hunt event, with the value and the record it has always had).

Trainer titles

A title is a word that shows up next to your name in chat, inside angle quotes, like «Domador de Chamas» Fulano. It grants no damage, exp, gold or advantage at all. It is only identity.

Every title carries its own theme colour: fire reads orange, night reads violet, gold reads gold. The colour paints the title only — your name keeps the colour it always had (founder gold, VIP blue).

Half of the titles are bought and half are earned:

Titles keep their Portuguese names on purpose: a title is a proper name, like a pokémon's, so it reads the same for everyone.

Earned titles show up on their own the moment you meet the condition, with nothing to claim — including if you already met it before titles existed.

You pick which one to wear (or none) on the Trainer screen, in the button right below your name. That list only holds the ones that are already yours. To see every title that exists, and what each one asks for, check the Títulos tab in the VIP Shop.

Name colour

Your name in chat can have a colour. Like the title, it grants no damage, exp or advantage: it is only identity.

Two colours come from your account badge, and those are not for sale:

The blue follows the Premium: if it runs out, your name goes back to normal. Subscribe again and the blue comes back with it.

Brushes

The other colours come from a brush, an item in the VIP Shop. You do not buy the colour: you buy the brush, and pick which colour you want when you use it. The colour you pick is yours forever.

The neon colours glow: they carry a halo around the letters that the others do not have.

Colour names stay in Portuguese for the same reason titles do: a colour name is a proper name, so it reads the same for everyone.

To use one, open the Trainer screen and click the button with your name, right below the title. That panel holds the colours that are already yours and the brushes sitting in your bag. Picking a colour spends the brush right away.

Switching colours later costs nothing: every colour you own stays on the list, and you can go back to normal whenever you want.

Where to buy and equip

Everything lives in the VIP Shop, in dedicated tabs, with a male/female filter for outfits and a preview before buying. The currency is always Sapphire.

What you own is stored on your account, so outfits and skins are permanent: changing your look later costs nothing.
