Hall of Veterans
Level 100 used to be a dead end: the pokemon was finished and there was nothing left to do with it. The Hall of Veterans is the way out. A pokemon you took from 1 to 100 can retire: it leaves combat, earns a plaque in the Hall and starts giving a permanent bonus to your whole account.
Nothing is deleted. The veteran stays listed, with its art, rarity, the Bond it arrived with and the date it retired.
Who can retire
Five conditions, all at once:
| Condition | Detail |
|---|---|
| Level 100 | The step where raising ends. There is no shortcut underneath. |
| Bond 100% (Apex) | The whole bar: about a week of hunting with it. See Bond. |
| Raised by you | A pokemon that came from another trainer does not qualify, even with a full Bond. |
| Not a pack companion | Founder and Genesis companions do not retire: they would lose their exclusive look, and there is no undo. |
| Out of the team | It has to be in the Box. Take it off the team first. |
The seats
| Source | Seats |
|---|---|
| Starting seats | 20 |
| Legacy talent (Raising branch) | +1 per point, up to +2 |
Twenty veterans is a journey measured in years. The seat does not come back: retiring is permanent.
The four axes
When you retire a pokemon you pick one axis for it to reinforce. Each veteran is worth +1% on the chosen axis, account-wide and forever.
| Axis | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Experience | Experience earned hunting |
| Gold | Gold earned hunting |
| Catch | Catch chance |
| Loot | Loot and drops |
None of the axes is raw damage, by design. The Hall is the accumulation of years, not a shortcut to power. A full Hall of 20 veterans on the same axis closes at +20%.
The axis is chosen once, at retirement, and does not change afterwards.
How to retire
- Move the pokemon to the Box (it cannot be on the team).
- Open the Hall tab.
- Pick the pokemon from the eligible list.
- Pick the axis.
- Confirm.
It leaves the Box and shows up as a plaque in the Hall, with species, rarity, Bond, axis and date.
