Stamina and beds
Your trainer carries a Stamina tank of up to 2 hours. While it has charge, your hunt earns more:
| Bonus while Stamina lasts | How much |
|---|---|
| Pokemon experience | +20% |
| Trainer experience | +20% |
The green chip at the top of the screen shows how many minutes are left. Click it and the sheet explains everything.
How the tank drains
Only with hunting time. Every minute hunting spends 1 minute of the tank. With the hunt stopped, nothing is spent: the tank does not leak while you are in the city, on the market or away from the game.
Turning spending on and off
On the Stamina sheet you pick between Spending and Saving. The default is Spending.
- Spending: the hunt drains the tank and gets the bonus.
- Saving: the tank stays put. Nothing is spent and the bonus does not apply.
Sleeping fills the tank either way. So you can wake up, leave it saved, and turn it on only when you go hunt where it matters.
The chip turns grey and reads Saved while spending is off. Tap it to turn it back on.
How to refill
By sleeping in a bed in a city house. Every 2 minutes asleep bank 1 minute of Stamina, and what you banked enters the tank when you wake up.
- Sleeping interrupts nothing. Your pokemon keep hunting the whole time you are in bed.
- And it pays in full. While the tank is filling, your hunt is worth the same as if the game were open, with no Offline progress discount. Once the tank is full you wake up, and time goes back to the usual 80%.
- Sleep ends by itself once the tank is full. Staying in bed past that earns nothing.
- A bed holds one person at a time. If someone lies down before you come back, it is theirs.
Where to sleep
| Situation | Price |
|---|---|
| A bed in your own house | Free |
| A bed in a house where you are a guest | Free |
| A bed the owner rents out | Whatever price they set, in gold or Safira |
| A house that does not rent | You cannot sleep there |
Rent is paid per session and does not come back. If you get out of bed and return within the same paid session, you do not pay again.
House owners can set the price per bed, each with its own currency and value.
How many beds fit in each house
The limit depends on the house tier, not on the number of floors. Shops have no beds.
| House | Beds |
|---|---|
| Small house | 1 |
| House | 2 |
| Manor | 8 |
| Mansion | 12 |
The count is of the beds you place: beds that came built into the house do not count toward it and keep working.
This is the limit for beds. The number of residents (pokémon roaming inside) is a separate count and depends on the floors. See Houses.
