What Poke Idle is

Poke Idle is an idle monster-collecting RPG. You pick a lead, point it at a region on the map, and it hunts on its own: earning experience, gold, items and catches, even while the game is closed. This isn't a button-mashing game: it's a game about building the right team, choosing the right targets, and letting the world run.

The core idea

The game world isn't backdrop art: it's one real, continuous map, with towns, coasts and caves connected to each other, and every hunt region sitting in its true place on it.

What you explore How much
Species 469
Hunt regions ~292 (levels 2 to 83)
Generations Kanto, Johto, Hoenn

The towns, coasts and caves behind the battles are the world map itself: you hunt right on top of the place you're standing in. The 5 deepest regions are single-species legendary bosses (Mewtwo Lv 70, Lugia 67, Ho-oh 64, Rayquaza 61, Suicune 58).

The hunt, live

When you open the Battle tab, you see your lead marching and trading blows with wild pokemon over the region's real map: projectiles, type effects, damage numbers flying, catches happening.

Your progress never stops

There's no clock running on its own while you play. When you open the game, check on your hunt, or collect your rewards, it works out everything that happened during the time that passed, all at once. Closing the game costs you nothing within the offline progress limit, and coming back after hours away hands you the full result right away.
