Creators & Livestreams
Any player can register their own stream (Twitch, YouTube or TikTok) and appear to every player while they are live. On the other side, any player can see who is streaming right now and join the stream with one click. Do you stream your hunts? Register your stream and show it to the community.
The Lives button
The game navigation has a Lives button. When somebody is streaming, it gets a pulsing red badge with the total number of people watching at that moment, across all platforms. With nobody live, the button stays clean.
Clicking it opens the showcase panel, which shows:
- Totals per platform: how many creators are live and how many viewers on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.
- The list of streams: stream thumbnail, channel name (the one from the platform, not the trainer name), stream title, viewers and the link to watch (opens in a new tab).
- My streams: your own registrations.
Streams are sorted by audience, from the largest to the smallest.
The main rule: mention PokeHunt
That sentence is the whole rule, and it does two things at once:
- writing it in your own channel description shows the channel is yours;
- writing it in the stream title shows that stream is about the game.
Any spelling works: PokeHunt, Poke Hunt, poke-hunt or the site address. Upper case,
accents and separators change nothing.
If you register and we can read your title or your description without finding the game name, the registration is refused right away, with a sentence telling you what is missing. Just write it and register again. The link can be the same one.
Registering your stream
To register you need:

In the panel, paste the link to your channel or to the stream. Accepted formats:

Rules:
- One stream per platform. If you stream on more than one, you can register them all: a new link from the same platform swaps that channel, and a link from another platform is added alongside. All three show up on the showcase at the same time when they are live.
- Registering the channel (and not one specific video) is the best route. The game finds your current stream on its own, you do not have to register again for every stream, and we can read your channel description to check the game mention.
- You can remove the registration whenever you want.
The review
Every new registration goes through a quick team review before it shows up for other players. While that happens, your card under "My streams" is marked as under review.
You get a notification either way:
- cleared: your stream joins the showcase, and from then on it shows up on its own every time you go live;
- not cleared: the card shows the reason, written for you. Fix what is missing and register again.
How the numbers are updated
The server is what queries the platforms, never your browser. The data (live or not, title, viewers and thumbnail) is cached and refreshed roughly every 2 minutes.
In practice: when you go live, you join the showcase within about two minutes; when you end, you disappear in the same window. The panel also fetches fresh data every time it is opened.
Reporting a stream
Every showcase card has a Report button. It opens four reasons: not about PokeHunt, inappropriate content, the channel is not that person's, or another reason.
It counts one report per player, per stream. Clicking again changes the reason, it does not add up. If several different people report the same stream, it leaves the showcase and waits for the team to look.
Moderation
- Banned or suspended accounts cannot register streams and do not appear on the showcase.
- Accounts in shadowban disappear from the showcase for other players, exactly like in chat.
- Staff can pull a stream off the showcase when the channel or the title breaks the rules. The stream then disappears for other players, and you keep seeing your own card greyed out, with the reason written on it. Fixed it? The "Fixed it" button puts your stream back right away, with nobody to wait for.
- The game also pulls a stream on its own when it changes subject mid-broadcast, or when the title picks up content that does not belong here. Same grey card with the reason, same button to come back after fixing it.
- Staff can also remove the registration. You get a notification with the reason, and the notice also stays in the Lives panel until you click "Got it". After that you can register another channel whenever you want.
- Insisting on what has already been pointed out leads to the account's registration block: its streams are pulled and it cannot register again until an administrator clears it.
- Staff can turn stream registration off entirely without taking the showcase down.
